2017 sure was an awesome year. It was one year full of ups and downs, rainbows and storms, joys and pains. Not everyday was greeted with sunshine. But it was one year full of experiences and people that have impacted my life greatly. It was one year full of confusion and enlightenment, reliance and independence, despair and hopes. It was another year of deeper understanding, continuous learning, challenges, intuition and changes. A year of meeting new people, special humans, good friends. It was full of surpises. It was beautiful. Meaningful.
How we survived was because, maybe we were prepared enough, smart enough, courageous enough.
Why we gave up on some things was because, maybe it wasn't worth it, we have learned our lesson, we have accepted what wasn't meant to be.
How we still keep holding on is because, maybe our mantra is no pain-no gain, we believe that patience is a virtue, or it's worth fighting for.
It was after a year that i'm thanking everyone for everything now. My parents who never gave up no matter how stubborn i was (and still). My brothers- Cyril, Harry, and Carlo who love me dearly i know ㅎㅎㅎ. My adopted sister- Kim who always listens to me. See you soon! The coworkers who taught and are still teaching me everything. The friends i left back home yet still keeping in touch- Elites! i miss you guys! The new friends who bring out the best in me- Coffee Lovers :) My dear Aunt Merlita who always encourages me and shares her wisdom. The awesome doctors- Dr. Farah, Dr. Sultanah, Dr. Hani, Dr. Fahad who help me grow and build up my self-esteem and make the job comprehensible.
